After the Seattle was transferred to Gitmo then finished at Cecil Field FL. Was medically discharged due to knee injury. After the Navy went to work in the HVAC and Refrigeration trade and still do it.

Ship Story:

Seattle was a great ship. I came on board in February of 70 when it had just gotten to Norfolk. As an ET my main responsibility was the TACAN plus other electronic equipment. Lt. Orsag was our Operations officer not a bad guy but we enjoyed harassing him. Capt. Keener was busking for admiral and wanted to out perform every supply ship that entered the Med. We had a great crew and for the most part everyone got along well.
