Ship Story:

Did a Med Cruise from January 1979 thru June 1979. Visited Athens, Palma, Rota, Mallaga, Lisbon, Naples, San Remo, Genoa, Mallaga, and Sicily. What a great time. I remember playing basketball on her flight deck, we'd play until we lost the ball over the side. Made alot of good friends - we worked hard - we played even harder. No females onboard back then, I believe they came board after she came out of the availability period at the Brooklyn Navy Yards. Thats where I left her.
