REUNION AGENDA OVERVIEW

August 9-13, 2023

PLEASE READ BEFORE MAKING SELECTIONS

WEDNESDAY AUGUST 9:  Check-in begins at 1:00 PM followed with a WELCOME ABOARD, Get Together time with finger food, snacks and beverages in our Hospitality Room.

THURSDAY AUGUST 10:  White Shirt Day. Members are encouraged to wear their white USS Seattle polo shirts.  Business meeting for members at 8:30 AM.  Breakfast will take place for spouses during this time.  Business meeting ends at 9:30 AM. We will board bus for the NFL Hall of Fame.  Followed by lunch Fat Heads Brewery.  Lunch will be at your own expense.  After lunch we will return to the hotel, for a short time, before leaving at 5:30 PM for a dinner cruise on the Nautica Queen.

If you do not want to go to NFL Hall of Fame, Pam Holton is organizing a day of shopping and lunch.  If you prefer to do that, register for it.  It will be on your own. Details to follow.

FRIDAY AUGUST 11:  Blue Shirt Day. Members are encouraged to wear the Blue USS Seattle polo shirts.  At about 9:00 AM we will board the bus for the “North Coast”.  Once there, we will get a tour of the U.S. Coast Guard Station as a group.  When the tour is over, you will be on your own until 5:00 PM when everything closes.  Activities include the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Great Lakes Science Center with NASA Glenn Research Center, The Steamship William G. Mather and the USS Cod, a WWII submarine.

At about 5:30 PM the bus will leave the "North Coast" area and arrive at Shooter's Waterfront Cafe about 5:45 PM. Once here we will enjoy a Buffet Style Pasta Dinner.  At the completion of dinner we will return to the Wyndham Hotel.

SATURDAY AUGUST 12:  On your own.  A list of places to visit will be included in your Welcome Package.  Board Members only meeting at 9:00 AM.  Banquet reception begins at 5:00 PM. Cash bar followed by Banquet at 6:30 PM.

SUNDAY AUGUST 13:  Farewell Breakfast and checkout.
