Jamie S. Messersmith, 46, entered into rest Friday August 25, 2017 at her home.
Viewings will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, and 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc. 2114 W. Market St. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Brad Moore officiating. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens with full military rites presented by the York County Veterans Honor Guard.
Miss Messersmith was born September 11, 1970 in York, a daughter of James C. and Sonia F. (Schmuck) Messersmith. She served in the U.S. Navy for 13 years. She was an E5 and Dental Technician in the Navy. She served on the USS Holland and Seattle. She was later employed at the West York Lowes store. 
She was a member of West Poplar Street Church of God. She was a 1989 graduate of West York Senior High School, where she was a member of the choir. She was an active member of Shiloh American Legion 791 and also actively taking classes to be a Dental Hygienist. 
Jamie is survived by her parents; sisters, Tina Martin and Robin Werner; a niece, Taunee Werner.

Jamie was a selfless person and always there for whoever was in need. She had such a beautiful smile and soul along with the absolute best hugs. Her family will always love and miss her. Our lives will never be the same...She is now in God's hands.
