Served next as Command Master Chief: Naval Aerospace Medical Research Laboratory, Pensacola FL
Retired Aug 2001, Now working with the VA helping our veterans in Pensacola FL.
Also volunteering for the Joe Foss Institute teaching our future leaders the US Constitution/Bill of Rights/Flag meaning and respect. Great Organization.
Ship Story:

Served at the Combat Logistics Squadron TWO COMLOGRON TWO (Earle NJ) assisting assigned ships/medical departments and families......then later actually stationed aboard the USS Seattle as senior enlisted Medical Dept Rep.

Actually played ping pong aboard during a steel beach type event onboard with the skipper while I was at COMLOGRON TWO and I thought I was good.......he wiped the floor with me....very good.
Our collision with I believe was the Wasp was unfortunate.
