As we go through life we cross paths with many people and once in awhile there is someone who stands out and we remember. Andy is this special someone to me. Right out of boot camp from the the YO 227 to the USS Seattle Andy was my Boss, Mentor and friend... My Sea Daddy.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers for dad and our family.  The funeral was everything dad wanted.  He got the Masonic Rites that he wanted and the Military Honors that he more than deserved.  I was doing OK during the service until Taps was played.  Before the service started, I put the USS Seattle Veteran’s Association ship’s coin in dad’s pocket so it will always be with him.
I hope you all have a great time at the reunion next month.  If it was possible, I know he would have loved to come to it.
Thanks again.
