I am a plankowner and was able to attend the decommissioning also with John Volk (SM2), Kenn Rothman (SM2) and others. It was so good to see so many of you.

I first knew him as LtJG Bill Tirrell as a member of the OC Division on the U.S.S. Seattle. He was the officer of that division for a number of years. I got to know him more on Facebook in recent years and shared some fun exchanges over this time. He is a wonderful person and his comments will be missed.
